Touratech Suspension is expanding its range of high-quality suspension components to include progressive replacement springs for the VOGE adventure series, comprising the DS 525 X, DS 625 X, DS 800 X Rally and DS 900 models. Lowering kits are also available.
VOGE, the emerging motorcycle brand from the Chinese Loncin Group, offers a coherently coordinated range of modern adventure bikes. In the mid-range dual-purpose segment, VOGE is represented by the DS 525 X – an affordable and accessible entry-level bike – and the more powerful DS 625 X. The DS 800 X Rally is positioned as a classic long-distance adventure touring model with excellent off-road capabilities and suitability for long journeys. The flagship model of the adventure range is the powerful VOGE DS 900 X, featuring a comprehensive range of standard equipment and a high level of comfort.
Progressive replacement springs for fork and shock absorber
When it comes to the specific demands of off-road riding or riding with a heavy load, the standard suspension components on VOGE adventure bikes also reach their limits. Touratech Suspension has therefore developed an effective upgrade based on progressive replacement springs. The springs are supplied as model-specific sets for the front fork and rear shock absorber. Fork oil with precisely matched specifications completes the package. The high-quality springs are developed in collaboration with Hyperpro and manufactured in Europe.
The progressive spring rate ensures that the suspension responds smoothly to minor bumps and builds up increasing resistance as compression progresses. This improves comfort on the road and increases the vehicle's reserves for tough off-road conditions and when carrying a heavy load. This is particularly relevant for adventure bikes, which are often ridden with luggage, a passenger or additional equipment. The motorbike handles comfortably on roads and well-maintained tracks, but does not dive as much during hard braking and does not bottom out in extreme situations.
Lowering option to reduce the seat height
For the DS 525 X and DS 625 X models, the kits are also available with a reduced spring length for a lower ride height. The seat height, lowered by 25 millimetres, makes it easier to touch the ground safely with your feet, which is an important safety factor, particularly when the bike is fully loaded or on uneven ground.
At the same time, the lower ride height makes these two attractive adventure bikes accessible to even more riders. Thanks to the specially tuned spring characteristics, off-road capability is largely retained despite the reduced effective suspension travel.
