An engine guard is one of the most important protectors when taking a touring Enduro bike off-road. Swirled up stones can jeopardise the light metal housing of the drive unit, and impacts on rock edges or tree stumps can also cause serious damage. Just as every enduro bike has a skid plate, large adventure bikes should also be equipped with a robust engine guard.
